At $32.38, the MegaWise VS6621 2025 is one of the cheapest vacuum sealers you can buy -- and the updated version is a significant step up from the original. The overall score of 8.0 is the highest of any sealer at this price in our database. The usability score of 9.3 is the standout result -- a perfect score in both Safety & Noise and Indicator Lights & Chime, combined with the cleanest control panel design we've seen at this price point. It passed the sous vide test on the first attempt and runs quietly at 75.3 dBA, a major improvement over the original's 87.5 dBA.
Suction is the acknowledged limitation. The motor doesn't pull hard enough to fully evacuate bags of dense dry food. For light everyday storage, it works. For long-term airtight freezer packing, you'll want to look at the best vacuum sealers in higher price tiers.

The VS6621 2025's performance score of 7.1 tells the same story as several other budget sealers in this group: a weak suction result softened by solid food handling scores. The sous vide pass is particularly notable -- first attempt, Wet & Cold mode, clean seal. The crunchy food breakage at 22% is middling, reflecting the Auto mode's lack of adjustment.

The VS6621 2025 reached 44 kPA in 20 seconds. Compared to the original VS6621's 35-36 kPA, this is a meaningful improvement. The 20-second cycle is relatively fast, and the motor’s able to evacuate all air from the bag – no air bubbles were observed.

The VS6621 2025 is one of the slimmest sealers in our database at 4.1 inches wide. It takes up minimal counter space and slides into a drawer or cabinet without trouble. At 2.3 lbs, picking it up and putting it away is effortless. Compact kitchens and light users are the natural fit.
8.0 Build Quality
The VS6621 2025 is made from ABS plastic throughout, and the grey finish is clean without trying to look like anything it isn't. Panels fit together tightly with no gaps, creaking, or flex. The foam gasket in the vacuum channel forms a consistent seal, and the heating bar runs the full width of the channel.

Depending on the kind of food you’re vacuuming, you can choose between "Dry," "Moist," and "Wet & Cold." You also have the option to choose from “Thin”, “Medium”, and “Thick” bags, as well.
Once selected, press the yellow “Vac & Seal” button to begin a cycle, and the sealer will handle the rest.
This is among the simpler control panels we've evaluated. First-time users need no instruction. The buttons are responsive, clearly labeled, and lit with indicator lights that make the active mode immediately obvious. A perfect score, and the VS6621 2025 earns it.
9.0 Lid
The latch locks on both sides of the lid click in cleanly and consistently. Moderate downward pressure engages both simultaneously -- more forgiving than most latch designs, which tend to require either very even pressure or significant force. Both reviewers managed reliable one-handed closes with some practice, though two-handed operation is still the more consistent approach.
The hinges are solid and the lid doesn't shift laterally. No creaking on open or close.
