Toshiba AC25CEW-BS Digital Convection Toaster Oven vs Panasonic FlashXpress Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
While the Panasonic FlashXpress Digital Toaster Oven (NB-G110P) was the best at saving energy in the small category, the Toshiba AC25CEW-BS Digital Convection Toaster Oven offers the best value across the board. As a result, the latter is simply the better option.
The Panasonic definitely has a more unique design with its auto-pull rack and distinct cooking presets that are typical in a Japanese appliance. Unfortunately, the rack limits the space of its already-small cooking chamber.
The Toshiba has a more common design but everything is of higher build quality. This includes its casing, convection system, carrying handles, more informative digital display, and more detailed and expensive timer and temperature control.
The Panasonic’s main strong point performance-wise is its ability to maintain high temperature despite its low power output. This allowed the oven to have higher scores in our cooking tests compared to many other small units, especially in baking fries.
However, the Panasonic just can’t compare with the Toshiba’s consistently great results. To top it all off, the Toshiba is actually cheaper than the Panasonic as well.
