Waterdrop WD-FC-06 vs PUR PLUS (PFM350V) Side-by-Side Comparison
Waterdrop WD-FC-06

Overall Verdict
The Waterdrop WD-FC-06 is one of the most popular filters on the market right now. Affordably priced and looking beautiful and solid with a stainless steel housing, we can see why so many people turned to this filter.
But how does it perform?
Very well, according to our tests. We pumped highly-chlorinated water through the cartridge to test its chlorine-filtering ability, and the WD-FC-06 eliminated all traces of the chemical in the water. The WD-FC-06 also excelled in the filtering flow rate test. In fact, it has the best result out of all the models we’ve tested so far with a reading of 1.3 GPM.
If you’re searching for a filter that can work quickly, the WD-FC-06 will be a perfect choice.
On the other hand, the PUR Plus PFM350V — while it still managed to get a perfect score in the chlorine test section — it’s one of the very few models that failed the flow rate test. The PFM350V has a very bad reading of just 0.33 GPM in filtering mode. If you’re used to having high-pressure tap water in your kitchen, it’ll take some time to get used to the slower flow of this filter.
Design-wise, the Waterdrop WD-FC-06 definitely got the PUR Plus PFM350V beat with its stainless steel housing. The PUR model only has a plastic housing, it may last a lot less long.
