Waterdrop WD-FC-01 vs Wingsol Faucet (WS-FM001-PAC) Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
There’s a lot to like about the Wingsol WD-FC001-PAC. It’s very affordable, and for the price, you get a solid stainless steel housing and a fairly capable filter cartridge (according to the ads, anyway).
While the stainless steel housing sure is a nice addition, in our performance tests, the Wingsol didn’t do well. It’s one of the very few models in our database that didn’t manage to get a perfect score in the chlorine test section. Though it’s able to remove the vast majority of the chlorine in the water, there’s still a trace amount of the chemical left in the water that our test kit picked up.
Its flow rate in filtration mode is decent at 0.9 GPM.
On the other hand, the Waterdrop WD-FC-01 also promises great filtration performance … and it delivered!
Besides having a perfect test score in the chlorine filtering test, it’s also one of the fastest-working filters in our list at 1.29 GPM (second only by a small rounding error to the Waterdrop WD-FC-06, which currently tops our chart at 1.3 GPM).
Its scoring in the build quality isn’t high due to its plastic construction. But Waterdrop definitely did a good job designing and manufacturing the filter. Besides the material, we found no major flaw or issue with the unit we received.
Overall, between the Wingsol WS-FM001-PAC and the Waterdrop WD-FC-01 … the latter should be a much better choice for your home!
