Waterdrop WD-FC-01 vs PUR PLUS (PFM350V) Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
The WD-FC-01 is the entry-level product in Waterdrop’s portfolio, but it doesn’t feel like a cheap product at all. With a perfect score in our chlorine filtration test and one of the highest filtering flow rates in our database (1.29 GPM), it’s an excellent option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly faucet-mount water filter.
The PUR Plus PFM350V, on the other hand, is a mid-range faucet-mount filter, and its price is shown in the design. The filter has a sleeker, more aesthetically-pleasing design in dark grey. It also comes with an electronic filter change indicator.
Our only issue with the PUR Plus PFM350V is its performance. While it did perfect in the chlorine test, its flow rate is very weak. At 0.44 GPM, it’s one of the very few models that failed our flow rate test.
If you have a high-pressure faucet at home and would like to have high flow speed, the PUR Plus PFM350V may not be a very good choice as a result. It’s also not a good fit if you have low water pressure in your kitchen.
