DuPont Faucet Mount (WFFM100XCH) vs Waterdrop WD-FC-06 Side-by-Side Comparison

Overall Verdict
The DuPont WFFM100XCH and the Waterdrop WD-FC-06 are among the most popular and well-rated faucet filters on the market. So, which is the better filter to choose for your kitchen?
Well, long story short, according to our tests and reviewers’ opinions: the Waterdrop WD-FC-06, although pricier, will always make for a better investment than the Dupont WFFM100XCH.
Performance-wise, the Waterdrop model definitely win out over the DuPont. With a perfect chlorine filtering score (10/10) and being the model with the highest flow rate in filtration mode (1.3 GPM when mounted to a 2.2 GPM high-flow faucet), its performance can only be described as “excellent.”
On the other hand, while the DuPont WFFM100XCH also got a perfect score in chlorine filtration (10/10), it has some of the slowest filtering flow rates in our database. At 0.46 GPM, the DuPont even failed our flow rate test due to having a flow rate lower than 0.5 GPM.
In terms of build quality, the Waterdrop WD-FC-06 also showed itself as the better product with a solid stainless steel housing. Meanwhile, the DuPont WFFM100XCH has a pretty, but definitely far less durable housing due to being made from chrome-plated plastic.
Overall, even though the Waterdrop WD-FC-06 is a fair bit pricier, we highly recommend splurging a few extra bucks on it over the DuPont. The value’s just all around better!
