While the Holstein Housewares HH-09125016B is a mini waffle maker designed to be as compact and portable as possible, the KRUPS Belgian is built instead for bulk cooking. So, with their two cases being so different, it’s not hard to pick one that best suits your intended use.

If you’re a traveler and want something you can bring, try the Holstein Mini. On the other hand, if you regularly have to bake large batches of waffles, the KRUPS Belgian will make more sense.

However, in terms of performance, while the Holstein does a passable job, the KRUPS Belgian is one of the worst performers in our database. It’s the only model that failed a cooking test, taking more than 10 minutes to cook a batter made from Birch Benders premade mix.
