DASH No-Drip Belgian vs KRUPS Belgian Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
The DASH No-Drip Belgian and the KRUPS Belgian waffle makers share the same design. They have a large, boxy body and expansive waffle plates capable of cooking four 4-inch square waffles at the same time.
There are differentiating factors, however.
The DASH No-Drip is the less premium choice out of the two. Rather than luxurious stainless steel like in the case of the KRUPS, the DASH No-Drip is made from cheap plastic. It also lacks many high-end features, like a control panel or an audible chime, both of which the KRUPS has.
All of these compromises are understandable, considering how the DASH No-Drip is cheaper by half!
But in terms of cooking performance, so far, we lean more toward the DASH No-Drip. The KRUPS, so far, has one of the worst cooking performances in our database. It is the only waffle maker that failed a cooking test (the Birch Benders premixed waffle test). While the DASH No-Drip’s performance is unremarkable, it still fulfilled all its testing requirements.
