Black+Decker WMD200B Double vs DASH No-Drip Belgian Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
Both the Black+Decker WMD200B Double and the DASH No-Drip Belgian waffle makers are considered “super-sized” in their respective classes … but for different reasons.
The WMD200B features a large, bulky baking chamber that fits two sets of 7-inch waffle plates. With them, you can cook two Belgian waffles all at the same time. This makes the WMD200B a great option for large families or those who regularly cook large batches of waffles.
On the other hand, the DASH No-Drip Belgian waffle maker has just one set of waffle plates. However, measuring over 8 inches wide, the DASH No-Drip’s plates are huge. The plates are divided into four quadrants, each capable of cooking one 4-inch waffle.
So, in one full batch, you can cook four small waffles with the DASH No-Drip. If you prefer the smaller size of mini waffles and also need to cook large batches often, the DASH No-Drip should also be a decent choice next to the WMD200B.
As for the “No-Drip” portion of the name, this waffle maker has two large trenches on either side of the waffle plates to catch spilled batter.
