Black and Decker WMD200B Double vs Oster Belgian Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
The Black and Decker WMD200B is far better than the Oster Belgian waffle maker.
The WMD200B has a flippable, double-sided design that allows it to cook two waffles at once. Though the quality of the waffles it makes isn’t spectacular, they are still enjoyable, at the very least. The same can’t be said for the Oster waffle maker. It is one of the few models we’ve tested that failed a performance test.
In terms of design, the WMD200B is far better, also. Its build quality is solid compared to the rather shoddy craftsmanship of the Oster.
The only area where the Oster outdid the BLACK+DECKER WMD200B was controllability. The WMD200B does not have a temperature control dial, while the Oster does.
