Oster French Door vs Cuisinart TOA-60 Air Fryer Toaster Oven Side-by-Side Comparison

Overall Verdict
The matchup between the Oster French Door Convection Toaster Oven (TSSTTVFDDG) and the Cuisinart TOA-60 Air Fryer Toaster Oven is an example of digital units being not necessarily better than analog ones. Besides a larger capacity, the Oster doesn’t hold a candle to the Cuisinart—our best convection pick—in any of our evaluating criteria.
In terms of design features, they are quite similar to one another, having nichrome heating elements that are compatible with the added convection fans, ventilation slats, back buffers, and so on.
However, the Cuisinart has a much higher build quality shown in its better-insulated casing and overall sturdier build. Its analog control dials are firm and just as precise as the Oster’s flat buttons that are not very responsive. Moreover, the Oster’s digital display isn’t the most informative or convenient.
The Cuisinart has a higher power draw and more powerful convection settings to outperform the Oster in each and every one of our cooking tests, including toasting bread, baking pizza, roasting whole chicken, and air frying fries. To top it all off, the Cuisinart comes with an air fryer basket and it’s even cheaper than the Oster.
