Overall Verdict

Compared to our best large toaster oven pick—the Ninja Foodi XL Pro DT201—the  Black and Decker 4 Slice TO1760SS simply stood no chance. The small size of the Black+Decker could do nothing to close the gap in overall scores between the two.

The Black+Decker has a good build quality all things considered but too few design features. It only has two analog control dials and two quartz heating elements.

On the other hand, the Ninja has an informative digital display, numerous cooking presets, toggle switches, additional unique buttons, six heating elements, a convection system, and an interior light.

The unit also has a much higher power output to knock it out of the park when it comes to the most important aspect of a toaster oven—cooking performance. Its included accessories, including an air fryer basket, also helped.
