The battle between the Mueller 4 Slice Toaster Oven (MT-175) and the Cosori Air Fryer Toaster Oven (CO130-AO) is an interesting one between our best-value small pick and our definitive best-to-buy pick. Without a doubt, the Cosori is the winner, but comparing it with the Mueller really highlights the strength of each unit.

Design-wise, the Mueller has a good overall build quality encompassing its detachable crumb tray that’s extra useful for cleaning the interior of a small toaster oven. Its control dials are also very precise for being analog.

The Cosori, on the other hand, has an intricate control panel with an informative digital display, intuitive buttons, and toggle switches for convection settings, lighting, and temperature conversion. On top of a larger capacity, these features, of course, make the Cosori cost a few times more than the Mueller.

What’s really impressive about the Mueller is its performance in spite of the common weaknesses of small units. Despite a lower power draw, the oven managed to keep up with the Cosori in toasting bread and baking pizza (though with a longer cooking time).
