Both the Breville BOV450XL Mini Smart Toaster Oven and the Cosori Air Fryer Toaster Oven (CO130-AO) are our best-to-buy picks. You can already tell who’s the winner when the latter is our definitive best-to-buy pick while the former is only in the small category.

Comparing the two shows the size difference can bring different degrees of investment in design, usability, and most importantly, resulting performance. The Cosori has pretty much all the features the Breville can offer but better.

Although the Breville has the highest performance scores among small units, it just can’t compare with the Cosori’s consistent top-tier results. A larger cooking chamber allowed the Cosori to have more heating elements, an interior light, and a convection system.

The Cosori also has a higher power draw and more accessories to tackle all of our cooking tasks, including toasting bread, baking pizza, roasting whole chicken (using its rotisserie kit), and air-frying fries (using its air-fryer basket).

Both toaster oven has toggle switches for convection settings, lighting, and temperature conversion. However, the Cosori simply has a more intricate control panel with a more informative digital display and more intuitive buttons. The Breville does have a non-stick interior that’s rare for any size though.
