Black+Decker CTO6335S vs Toshiba AC25CEW-BS Toaster Oven Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
Despite both using 1500 W, the Black+Decker CTO6335S has the more efficient quartz heating elements compared to the common nichrome variety of the Toshiba AC25CEW-BS. However, as countertop convection toaster ovens, the Black+Decker lagged behind in all of our performance tests.
These two toaster ovens have a variety of cooking functions that are useful for beginners and experienced cooks alike. While both have an LCD display, the Black+Decker’s buttons are not as reliably responsive as the Toshiba’s control knobs.
Both toaster ovens have a sturdy construction that comes with a useful slide-out crumb tray. Although the Black+Decker has a slight edge in the exterior department with its tamper-resistant outer shell, it also gets hotter to the touch when in use.
Besides the standard accessories, the Toshiba comes further with a rotisserie kit and rack clamp. However, none of the two has an interior light or any other of the usual convenient features.
While Toshiba AC25CEW-BS is our best-value medium-sized toaster oven, the Black+Decker CTO6335S comes in a larger size and at a less expensive price.
