Black+Decker Convection (CTO6335S) vs Breville Smart Oven Pro Side-by-Side Comparison

Overall Verdict
Looking at the overall score, the Black+Decker Convection Toaster Oven (CTO6335S) definitely loses to the Breville Smart Oven Pro (BOV845BSS).They both are large digital convection toaster ovens, the first one is plain while the second is fancy.
The Breville has much higher scores in terms of design and usability and also costs around three times as much as the Black+Decker. On the other hand, if you simply want a toaster oven that can cook just as well and don’t want to spend as much, then the Black+Decker is for you.
Both toaster ovens have a slide-out crumb tray, but the Breville has a thicker casing for better heat insulation. They also have internal lighting but the Breville takes a step further with its non-stick interior coating for easy cleaning.
The current settings for the cooking mode, timer, and temperature are more clearly shown on the Breville's control panel. The oven’s buttons register more easily, not to mention the extra toggle switches for temperature conversion, convection settings, and frozen foods.
Here’s the catch, they tied in their cooking performance. Both machines have equally good performance scores. Yet, given the Breville's greater power output, we anticipated more from it. We believed that its quartz heating elements might be subjected to inconsistency.
