Kizen LaserPro LP300 vs Lasergrip GM400 Infrared Thermometer Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
When considering the Kizen LaserPro LP300, it initially seemed like it had the potential to be one of our top-rated infrared thermometers. It performed exceptionally well in the design and usability sections, earning impressive scores of 9.3 and 7.2, respectively. Unfortunately, our comprehensive tests revealed that it produced highly inconsistent readings across multiple performance evaluations. As a result, its total performance score was just 5.2 out of 10, barely meeting the passing mark.
The Lasergrip GM400, on the other hand, didn't fare much better. It performed slightly better in the performance category, receiving a score of 5.3 out of 10.
The Kizen stood out as a tie-breaker with its outstanding design and usability ratings. Our reviewers commended its ruggedized construction, backlit LCD screen, and bright laser emitter. Conversely, the Lasergrip fell short in comparison, with a basic design and a lack of extra measurement modes (unlike the Kizen, which offers two).
Therefore, if you must choose between these two thermometers, the Kizen LaserPro LP300 is preferable. However, it's worth noting that numerous other models in our database provide better value for your money compared to either of these choices.
