Helect Infrared Thermometer vs Mecurate IRT600A Digital Infrared Thermometer Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
The Helect IR thermometer is one of the best IR thermometers in our database. It performed excellently in our performance tests, receiving a total score of 8.0 out of 10 across both the cold and the hot tests. On the other hand, the Mecurate IRT600A only received a score of 6.9 out of 10.
However, while the Helect provides very good measurement accuracy, it falls behind in building quality and user experience. The construction of the thermometer is fairly cheap, and the lack of extra measurement modes makes the Helect less versatile than the Mecurate IRT600A.
So, when it boils down to it, if it’s measurement accuracy that you seek, the Helect will give you the value for your money. But on the other hand, if you want a pleasant user experience and versatility from your IR thermometer, you’ll enjoy the Mecurate IRT600A better.
