Keeping the plastic body of the Avalon A4 clean is easy enough. It doesn't get smudged easily, and the stainless-steel-plated door can be cleaned with a general purpose detergent, or use a cleaner that you may have for your refrigerator. This A4 model doesn't have UV or Ozone injection for the water lines, but the nozzles are easy to clean around and the dispensing backguard has a anti-bacterial film. Every 6 months or so, you will need to descale the machine using citric acid or white vinegar solution.
