Does the InSinkerator Badger 5 1/2 HP Garbage Disposal often trip the breaker, and how can it be prevented?

Occasionally, my garbage disposal trips the breaker switch. I need to understand the possible reasons for this and what steps I can take to prevent it from happening in the future. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and how did you resolve it?

When the breaker strip, that means the motor has overheated, which happens when it runs for too long and/or under too much load. InSinkErator Badger garbage disposals are prone to overheating because of its induction motors. Do these things to keep the breaker from triggering: 1) Always run cold water when using the disposal, 2) Avoid running the disposal longer than 2 minutes continuously, 3) Use the disposal only for simple food scraps (avoid bones, hard fruit pits, etc.)
