Some people mention that the ice from the EUhomy Ice Maker IM-01-WA has a plastic taste initially. How did you resolve this issue?

We never experienced this issue with the Euhomy IM-01-WA. In general, this ice maker has an excellent design and build quality, although the performance and quality of the ice is not that great. If there is a plastic taste to your ice, then clean your machine with a weak solution of white vinegar. Allow your machine to make two or three full ice baskets with the vinegar solution. Then, replace the water with fresh water, run the 'self clean' function, and make another three baskets before resuming normal use.
