How effective is the double flip feature on the Black and Decker Double Waffle Maker for even cooking?

I am considering purchasing the Black and Decker Double Waffle Maker, and I'm intrigued by the double flip feature. For those who have experience with this model, how effective is the double flip mechanism in ensuring that the waffles cook evenly on both sides? Does it significantly improve the texture and consistency of the waffles compared to single flip or stationary models?

Flipping makes the waffles more even (but it still relies slightly on how well you pour the batter onto the plate and how thick it is.) In my experience, the flipping motion does make the waffle fluffier and looks nicer than those made in non-flip models.
