Is the Hamilton Beach 26031 suitable for making waffles for a large family?

We have a big family of 5, and breakfast time can be quite hectic. I need a waffle maker that can keep up with our demands. Is the Hamilton Beach 26031 Belgian Waffle Maker efficient for making multiple batches of waffles quickly? Does it handle large quantities well without losing performance?

It'll do, but it won't be as convenient as double-sided waffle makers (the ones with two plates.) If you have a large family, go for those. With this model, you can only cook one waffle at a time and they'll take five minutes each.
