Cubikook vs Kitchellence 3-Stage Sharpener Side-by-Side Comparison

Overall Verdict
The Cubikook CS-T01 and the Kitchellence sharpener both enjoy high scores in our rating table.
The Cubikook has an effective design, with a full, wide base and a low working section. It’s as easy to work with and accident-proof as a pull-through sharpener can be. It has a flaky label, which can be annoying but not detrimental.
The Kitchellence, meanwhile, enjoys stronger, more substantial sharpening rods. Its tapered base is balanced off with a heavy weight, so stability, while inferior to the Cubikook, isn’t a big issue.
Surprisingly, the Kitchellence’s better-looking abrasives didn’t seem to give it remarkable advantages against the Cubikook, performance-wise. In fact, apart from material retention, where it fared only slightly better than the Cubikook, it was inferior in all performance parameters. The Cubikook was faster, achieved a higher sharpness level, and produced a smoother edge.
Between the two, we’d go with the Cubikook for its higher level of effectiveness.
