Its refined motion-activation control and streamlined construction not only brings a sense of sophistication to any kitchen but also enhances our daily routine. What’s more, the sleek, easy-to-clean design working together with touchless control means the faucet stays spotless with very little maintenance. It may not be the best choice for every kitchen considering its somewhat steep pricing, but with outstanding performance on all fronts and lifetime warranty, it’s definitely one of the better choices for those dislike messy kitchens.

The faucet’s complex installation does sour things a little on the DIY-front, but it’s more about the various components than the process itself, which is actually cleverly designed.

The faucet struggles with low water pressure. If your home’s pressure is below 40 psi, rinsing will be less effective, and the auto-switch function may not work properly. While it might still be usable, there are better options available on the market for low-pressure settings.

Plus, the rocker button is coated with quality rubber for a nice finger feel.

To Moen’s credit, the faucet installation is also designed intuitively to be as DIY-friendly as possible, despite the electronics components.

The sprayer offers excellent reach, making it well-suited for most standard kitchen sinks. A ball joint where it connects to the hose enhances flexibility of movement, working seamlessly with the high-quality water hose feel. Buildup in the rubbery nozzles can be cleaned out by simply rubbing them. Nonetheless, we typically prefer a bit more weight on the sprayer hose for a better, more secure retraction and docking.

The auto-shutoff feature helps reduce water waste from accidental activation, making it a resource efficient system. However, the biggest drawback of this technology is its reliance on power—once the batteries in the control box run out, the faucet becomes completely inoperable. To mitigate this, users can invest in an AC adapter or monitor the sensor LEDs, which blink blue when the batteries are running out of juice.
