Overall Verdict
As a fully handsfree kitchen faucet, the GIMILI touchless model is an appealing and budget-friendly option. While its motion-activation control isn’t as refined as higher-end models, it remains responsive and easy to use.
Additionally, its affordability comes at some cost of craftsmanship, evident in its stiff swiveling and easily scratchable matte black finish. It may not be the best choice for every kitchen, but with solid performance on all fronts, it’s a great option for those on a tight budget.

Offering decent construction quality and a true touchless experience with motion sensing, the faucet should serve for years and help keep the kitchen tidier. Drawbacks concerning the faucet’s installation and janky details do make everything look less appealing, but you can do a lot worse for an affordable handsfree faucet.

The faucet doesn’t work too well with low water pressure. If you are anything lower than 40 psi, rinsing is going to be less effective and the auto switch function is also affected. It may suffice, but there are certainly more suitable options on the market for low pressure.

Certain drawbacks, such as the stiff swivelling of the body, do affect the faucet’s overall ease of use. However, this is still an effective cost-saving design with handsfree water control.

The most noticeable flaw is its stiff body rotation, likely due to less-than-precise detailing and cost-saving production. Everything else is reasonably sufficient. While the GIMILI GM1043B (Matte Black) doesn’t excel in build quality, it delivers on its promise as a true touchless kitchen faucet. In addition to a detachable, flexible sprayer and a responsive spring neck, the faucet offers convenient, hands-free access to water, giving cooks greater freedom around the sink. However, its installation is less intuitive than a number of models we’ve reviewed, leading to a more complex process and posing a challenge for first-time installers.
