Gimili Touchless Kitchen Faucet Review

Overall Verdict
As a fully handsfree kitchen faucet, the GIMILI touchless model is an appealing and budget-friendly option. While its motion-activation control isn’t as refined as higher-end models, it remains responsive and easy to use.
Additionally, its affordability comes at some cost of craftsmanship, evident in its stiff swiveling and easily scratchable matte black finish. It may not be the best choice for every kitchen, but with solid performance on all fronts, it’s a great option for those on a tight budget.
Things We Like
- True touchless
- Affordable
- Long extendable sprayer head
Things We Don’t Like
- Stiff swiveling
- Tough to clean
Offering decent construction quality and a true touchless experience with motion sensing, the faucet should serve for years and help keep the kitchen tidier. Drawbacks concerning the faucet’s installation and janky details do make everything look less appealing, but you can do a lot worse for an affordable handsfree faucet.
6.0 Performance
The faucet doesn’t work too well with low water pressure. If you are anything lower than 40 psi, rinsing is going to be less effective and the auto switch function is also affected. It may suffice, but there are certainly more suitable options on the market for low pressure.
6.0 Low Pressure Test

Compared to something like the Kraus Bolden or the WEWE Commercial Style Faucet, this GIMILI yields roughly 0.2 to 0.3 fewer gallons of water every minute.
8.4 Design
As far as faucet design goes, the GIMILI Touchless Faucet is both familiar and unique. Its solid construction and commercial details make it an attractive option for those who enjoy minimalism and industrial aesthetics. Certain drawbacks, such as the stiff swivelling of the body, do affect the faucet’s overall ease of use. However, this is still an effective cost-saving design with handsfree water control.
In the Box

- Kitchen Faucet
- User manual
- Mounting accessories
- Electronic accessories
The faucet comes with numerous components, including mounting and electronic components. The user manual provides all the information needed to complete the installation, and to the manufacturer’s credit, it’s concise and to the point, which is always helpful to us DIY folks.
7.5 Body Design

The faucet features a 360-degree rotation and a flexible, coiled neck that extends the pulldown sprayer’s reach. While its design isn’t particularly unique, its well-crafted industrial aesthetic instantly draws attention. However, the spring neck, despite being easily removable for cleaning, has gaps that can make maintenance a real chore. Available in a variety of finishes—including Matte Black, Black Stainless, Chrome, Gold, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze—it offers plenty of options to complement any kitchen style.
9.0 Sprayer Design

The sprayer head is neat, comfortable to use, and integrated with a responsive rocker button. The button doesn’t have symbols indicating the water modes, but the auto-switch function that automatically switches the sprayer back to streaming every time water is on negates any related inconvenience.
8.5 Build Quality

The faucet is reasonably well-built for a budget-friendly option, but it falls short of excellence in craftsmanship. The most noticeable flaw is its stiff body rotation, likely due to less-than-precise detailing and cost-saving production. Everything else is reasonably sufficient. In short, it’s an average kitchen faucet with a second-tier motion activation feature.

8.4 Usability
While the GIMILI GM1043B (Matte Black) doesn’t excel in build quality, it delivers on its promise as a true touchless kitchen faucet. In addition to a detachable, flexible sprayer and a responsive spring neck, the faucet offers convenient, hands-free access to water, giving cooks greater freedom around the sink. However, its installation is less intuitive than a number of models we’ve reviewed, leading to a more complex process and posing a challenge for first-time installers.
8.0 Sprayer
The sprayer offers excellent reach, making it compatible with most standard kitchen sinks. Its flexible, bending neck and long hose enhance accessibility, providing great versatility overall. Moreover, the pulldown action feels well-balanced, and the retraction mechanism delivers a smooth, satisfying return. However, the design requires manually guiding the sprayer back onto the docking arm for a secure fit.
9.2 Control
Motion-sensing control adds significant convenience to this kitchen faucet, giving users greater flexibility in our routines. The auto-shutoff feature helps minimize water waste from accidental activation, making it even more efficient. What’s particularly noteworthy is the ability to remove the control box and use the faucet as a standard spout, which is a practical backup in case the batteries run out when you need water immediately.
7.5 Installation

In our experience, this faucet isn’t the most DIY-friendly when it comes to setting everything up. With numerous components and an unstreamlined process, the installation can feel a bit overwhelming. While the instructions are clear and provide the necessary guidance, the process can be challenging, especially for those who aren’t particularly handy.
