Waste King L-8000 vs Frigidaire 1/2 HP Corded Side-by-Side Comparison
Waste King L-8000 1 HP
Frigidaire 1/2 HP Corded

Overall Verdict
The Frigidaire 1/2 HP is about half the size of the hefty Waste King L-800 1 HP. Despite size and power differences, the grinding chamber capacity is much the same. However, when it comes down to grinding fundamentals, the Frigidaire is only capable of doing a barely good enough job on mixed scrap waste.
The Waste King, meanwhile, is an affordably good all-rounder. It’s the no brainer choice here especially considering there are better small-sized grinders than the Frigidaire. If all you need to do is to process small amounts of organic vegetable scraps, the Frigidaire may be a suitable choice for a couple of vegans.
