Waste King L-8000 vs Evergrind E202 1/2 HP Garbage Disposal Side-by-Side Comparison

Overall Verdict
On paper at least, the Evergrind E202 1/2 HP looks like a half decent proposal. Two things stand out though; one being a less capable induction motor, and the other a lower quality galvanized steel grind chamber. Additionally, the large 30 fl. oz. capacity seemed large for the power specs on hand.
The Evergrind proved unable to perform to any acceptable standard in our three tests, and it tended to get quite hot as well. There are obviously much better small disposals to choose from. Needless to say, the Waste King is not just a better proposition, but it’s an affordable and a good choice for a larger 1 HP disposal.
