Moen GX100C 1 HP Garbage Disposal vs Waste King L3200 3/4 HP Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
The Moen GX100C 1HP proved the overall better disposal in our tests, but the choice between the Waste King L-3200 is not so straightforward. The 3/4 HP Waste King actually excelled with processing general mixed scraps and raw chicken waste. It failed at processing raw fish scraps, which is the distinct advantage of the Moen.
Depending on the kind of waste you need to process, the Waste King is a much more affordable choice. The Waste Kind also uses an EZ mount installation, making it easier to deal with since the Moen is quite heavy for one person to install. Since the larger Moen is almost twice the price, you may want to consider how much and what kind of waste you need to process.
