Moen GX100C 1 HP Garbage Disposal vs Frigidaire 1/2 HP Corded Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
The smaller 1/2 HP Frigidaire FF05DISPC1 may cost less than half the price of the Moen GX 100C, but its performance limitations are a key consideration. The Frigedaire is only capable of processing small amounts of mixed scraps, mostly organic waste. It’s not a disposal for processing large amounts of raw chicken or fish waste.
By comparison, the Moen deals adequately well with all categories of waste, but its performance is pretty average nonetheless. If you need a small garbage disposal, the Frigidaire is good enough for general scraps, but there are better small alternatives such as the Amazon Commercial 1/2 HP, or even the Waste King L-101.
