Overall Verdict

There are a number of key spec differences between the Moen GX100C and the Amazon Commercial. The Moen has a 1 HP motor and the Amazon a 1/2 HP, both using a  permanent magnetic motor. The Moen has a more complex grinding mechanism, and the Amazon uses an EZ mount installation instead of a 3-bolt. 

Both these disposals are fairly average in terms of their performance. Both deal adequately with mixed scraps, but the Moen is the better all-rounder. The more simple grind chamber of the Amazon cannot handle tricky fish scraps, but it was much better than average for raw chicken scraps. The Amazon Commercial may have a slightly lower build quality, but considering its costs less than half the price of the Moen, it could be a more affordable option all considering.
