InSinkErator Evolution Compact vs Moen GX100C 1 HP Garbage Disposal Side-by-Side Comparison
InSinkErator Evolution Compact

Overall Verdict
For its smaller, 3/4 HP powered induction motor, the InSinkErator Evolution Compact put up a sterling show against the mighty Moen 1 HP with its permanent magnet motor. The InSinkErator even took down fish scraps, including long fish bones, something the Moen couldn’t accomplish. It also dealt swiftly with raw chicken scraps and did a good enough job with mixed scraps, the only near performance match for the Moen.
Both disposals actually have a similarly sized grind chamber, but the InSinkErator runs on a lower speed with a higher power draw. Both machines sport a removable baffle, which helps a lot with noise reduction, but the InSinkErator is much quieter all round. Although the InSinkErator is a better performance choice, it may sometimes require manual unjamming using the in-built unjamming mechanism. It also costs a little more.
