Overall Verdict

If you’re looking for a large capacity 1 HP garbage disposal, this standoff between the GE GFC1020N and the Moen GX 100C will help narrow down your choice. In our performance tests, the GE out-performed the Moen in all tests. However, both disposals offer excellent value with not much difference in the price. 

Key design differences are that the GE uses an EZ mount installation and the power cord is optional and not pre-installed. It also has a deeper chamber and the grind components are more complex rather than basic. All things considered, the GE is the better choice here.
