GE GFC1020N 1 HP vs InSinkErator Evolution Compact Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
The GE GFC1020N 1 HP is one of GE’s largest garbage disposals. It is similar in size to the InSinkErator Evolution Compact, being around 4 inches taller but weighing almost 5 lbs less. In terms of capacity, the GE is slightly larger yet also cheaper, which makes their performance comparison all the more interesting.
The GE dealt impressively well with mixed scraps and even outdid the InSinkErator with challenging raw fish cartilage and bones. However, the tables were turned when it came to raw chicken scraps. The GE does impress with its better design details even though it is a lot noisier. Overall, it does a better job than the InSinkErator, and its large capacity is a bonus.
