Overall Verdict

The AmazonCommercial 3/4-HP and the Moen GX50C 1/2-HP both run on jam-resistant permanent magnet motors and are very effective against normal kitchen scraps. While the AmazonCommercial 3/4-HP is more powerful, the Moen Prep GX50C is better constructed. That said, they are both well-built grinders that utilize stainless steel grinding components for the best grinding experience.

The key difference between the two lies in their ability to deal with raw scraps. Where the AmazonCommercial 3/4-HP hardly struggled to deal with such challenges, the Moen GX50C 1/2-HP could only put up satisfactory results.
