The Presto excels in maximum temperature retention and stability for steak searing and pancake coloration. On the other hand, the Ovente stands out for its rapid heating, making it ideal for stir-frying meat and veggies but less suitable for delicate foods like pancakes.

Both skillets have a PFOA-free Teflon non-stick surface that simplifies cleaning and reduces the need for oil or grease. Priced at $63, the Presto offers 8 quarts of capacity, allowing it to cook all kinds of food at $63. Unfortunately, the skillet’s usability is compromised by the lack of anti-slip pads, causing it to move around too much during cooking.
