Oxo Compact vs Goodful Side-by-Side Comparison

Overall Verdict
The OXO Compact is a free-style cold brew coffee maker. Its brewing method is somewhat unique. Grounds are not stirred, but left undisturbed and water is distributed via its proprietary rainshower dripper. It produces one of the strongest cold brew concentrates we have tested.
The OXO requires a fair bit of shelf space to brew ( HD: 7 in x 5.1 in ), but the concentrate empties into a small decanter which you can easily store in a refrigerator door. The Goodful, on the other hand, is only for brewing in a refrigerator door and may not fit a small refrigerator.
The Goodful is also an immersion filter brew using a brew ratio of 1:18. Therefore, the brew quality is somewhat insubstantial. Furthermore, the lid design is clunky and the quality of the materials unknown. The Goodful is also very similar to the Takeya which is an all round better proposition.
