Overall Verdict

Coffee Gator is a nicely-designed cold brew coffee maker. It’s a glass jug with a nifty twist-to-pour lid. However, the filter is made from plastic and nylon so it is not the best choice if you want to double up for hot brewing.

There are two nice value-added items with this brewer. One is a stainless steel measuring spoon and the other is a silicone funnel that really helps with adding in the grounds and more precise pouring of water.

The quality of the brew is quite average whereas the Toddy, using a free-style brewing technique, actually produces an espresso-strength cold brew concentrate. The Toddy is versatile because it can also brew cold tea and its included extras are two paper brew bags.
