Overall Verdict

With the exception of the hot soup test, these two immersion blenders shared the same performance quality. For the soup test, the Chefman Cordless churned out a smooth batch of puree in only 30 seconds. In the same time frame, meanwhile, the Mueller Ultra-Stick left us with a lot of unprocessed chunks.

The Chefman's materials are of a higher quality, nullifying the cheaply plastic feel of the Mueller Ultra-Stick. Its design also feels more refined overall. In terms of usability,​ the Chefman Cordless is more reliable to use. It works more simply, portably, and conveniently, too. 

If you simply want an immersion blender for basic tasks, the Mueller Ultra-Stick is not a bad choice, and it offers a few capabilities that are not present in the competition thanks to the extra whisk attachment. However, for a few extra pennies, the Chefman Cordless will make a difference.
