All-Clad Corded vs. Breville BSB510XL Control Grip Side-by-Side Comparison
Overall Verdict
Besides the pricing and the solid build with high-quality materials, there aren't a lot of similarities between these two immersion blenders. Everything from the size to the power to the style is entirely different. The All-Clad is bulkier and sports a higher-powered motor, while the Breville is more compact with a reasonable weight.
Regarding their testing performance, neither of them ranked high in our ratings since they all have their own shortcomings. Both were excellent at grinding soaked nuts but performed just averagely in the soup tests. Because the All-Clad is more powerful, it did a better job of liquifying frozen fruits, but the lack of an extra whisk attachment meant it couldn’t whip egg white and was even unable to make mayonnaise.
Meanwhile, the Breville struggled considerably to churn out a serving of icy smoothie, but it did have the advantage over the All-Clad when it came to creating a stable emulsion or stiff peak, though the mayonnaise it produced wasn’t as creamy as others, if not very mediocre.
